Auto pot question?

Thinking of trying Auto Pots. I have a 2x4 tent and am looking at 2 of the root and veg pots. I want to ask what you all are using for soil in them? Also, are you mixing nutes in with the water? I did a search but didn’t find anything about the type of soil being used.

I like the convenience of autopots I only need to top up the reservoir once a week it's real easy going, I use them with coco and mineral salts.

I'm not entirely happy with the rooting situation but tbf the problem is on my end.
