Auto harvest

How does one tell if there autos are ready for harvest? Do the trichomes turn cloudy/amber like photo plants? In my very limited experience it almost seems some (like Chem Dawg) after 3 months the trichs don't really turn. Yet I just looked at a Sour Diesel auto (outdoor) that's only 65 days old and the trichomes look cloudy some amber. It looks about ready to b pulled. Would it b possible for a auto to b ready in 65 days from seed to harvest? I wonder how does one know ? I would b grateful for any input .

I need to invest in a camera that would work. I just looked again the trichomes are FROSTY definitely not clear but frosty white and i do see a few amber ones. Im just shocked. She is only 65 days old from seed. That's incredible to me

Be sure you’re checking the buds and not the leaves. Any auto I’ve pulled before 70 days I’ve regretted.

Nikon Coolpix is more than adequate. Check your local pawn shop if you're on a covid budget.
