Auto-flowering anomaly, what to do?

What does a breeder who has no idea how to work with auto-flowering genetics do when they come across an auto-flowering genetic?

I have two different strains here, both are Dj Short genetics. The first is a back-stock strain from his back-stock library, it was labeled PFK for Purple, Fruity and Kush. Here it is in veg at 18/6. I've been cutting it back to remove the pollen sacks and prevent pollination.
The second plant is an F-13. She's also flowering at 18/6. She's thirsty for water here.
How can these genetics be worked into a breeding program where creating an auto-flowering strain is not the object?

In the breeding projects I've seen it takes a lot of careful selection for the autoflowering trait to become stabilized in a strain. I haven't seen many people try to remove it from a genetic lineage. What characteristics are you looking to move forward with from these two?

Not looking to move forward with them. Just trying to find them a home.

With the increased ability for more people to grow cannabis. I believe autoflowering varieties will become more of a norm than a niche, as more and more space restricted gardeners begin their cultivation hobby. Just as the original blueberry cemented itself amongst the culture as a genetic ancestor to a generation of strains today. Possibly so to will these auto beauties. If you will let them.

Space and time for breeding projects are limited, as is my knowledge of auto-flowering varieties.

I think of the logistics of stabilizing an auto-flowering variety and my head hurts.

How does one clone an auto-flowering strain in order to produce a mother that can then bear seeds?

How does one keep a mother of an auto-flowering strain alive?

no clones you would have to start from seed or frozen pollen .... ideally you would take a stabilized strain with the auto trait .... and cross that to the photo of choice ...... you would grow out the F1's and make a selection of desired traits by flowering cuttings ..... and then grow out your original stabilized auto strain and back cross your F1 to it ..... F2 you should have some but not many auto's show up , they would be found by growing out a number of plants and playing the odd's or repeating the process used with the F1's ...... then you would again grow out a large sample of your F3's you will have a higher percentage of auto's you would breed the F3's with them selves just run them on 24/0 the auto's will show and the photo's will continue to veg ( you can still flower the photo's ), by F5 you should be fairly locked in and stable,
keep in mind this process can be done in party cups in a corner of your veg room and not effect anything other then taking up floor space

if keeping it auto is not a concern then just cross it with something ....... they will probably all be photo

U can't keep auto as mother they bud on there own
