Auto flowering, 24 hours v.s 18 hours

Hello,

This is going to be my first grow with auto flowering cannabis seeds. What would yield a greater amount during harvest time for Delicious Seeds La Diva cannabis, 24 hours of light or 18 hours of light? Also should I use the same light, a 500 watt equivalent CFL, for the entire grow from sprout to harverst? Or should I use a 100 watt equivalent CFL or natural sunlight from window for a week then a 500 watt equivalent CFL for remaining time till harvest.

Well most of the thc production happens in the dark period, probably why most companies say 18/6 for autos. I would stick with 18. Most companies recommend 18. As far as the cfl being too much for seedlings, it shouldn't be a problem. N use the actual wattage not equivalent wattage. Just keep it far away and slowly lower it if your scared it might be too much for the little guys.
