Auto Bubble - Female Seeds

Hi everybody!

This is my first time growing autoflowers.. decided to fill the NFT kits with some feminized autoflowering plants whilst waiting for the Super Iced Grapefruit mother to grow big enough for cuttings. Decided upon Auto Bubble from Female Seeds.

They were left in a glass of water until they sunk or 24 hours, and then transported into 1inch rockwool cubes. Within days all had sprouted with 10/10 germination rate. From there once the roots had started coming out the bottom they were placed into 4inch rockwool cubes. And finally once the roots had began to show through the bottom of the 4inch cubes the cubes were placed into the NFT trays.

Unfortunately I don't have many photos from the start.. but they have now been in the NFT trays for 7 days now and growth is good, just been put onto full strength nutes. I've had some issues with excess heat in the growroom that I'm trying to sort out atm.. nothing major but some leaves are looking heat stressed. The setup is 4 x NFT424 trays under 2 x 600w lights, 8 inch fan and filter with passive intake.. the passive intake being the cause of my heat issues.

Nutes are ionic grow and bloom 1 part.. first time using them, I used to use GHE along time ago but 1 part seems easier, impressed so far!

I'll keep the photos updated and regular from here on in, besides, it's the buds you all want to see right! Nobody wants to see my tiny 2 inch beauties now do they!?! :blsmoke: Hahaha.

I'll add photos when I figure out how.. till then keep growing guys! :)

After 1 week in the nft trays.. maybe 3 or 4 weeks from seed can't actually remember when I sprouted them tbh :joint::roll:

Around the edge in the pots are the Super Iced Grapefruit that I shall pick a mother from :)

Images didn't seem to work in the last post :cuss:

I'll put them here again for continuity...

Right! So it's been about 2 weeks from the last update.. alot of growth since then!

Switched them over to bloom nutes a few days ago.. pics below. They've started budding and the steams on the few are as thick as a clipper already!

However the pictures will show the disadvantage to using seeds in NFT... what a bunch of misfits they are!! ;-) Tall short fat thin and everything inbetween.

They have been in the NFT trays for roughly 16-18 days from between the first photos and the latest.. very fast growth indeed! Starting to smell too.. will update in a week or so.. till then keep growing guys! ;-)

Thought I'd throw in a picture of the extraction setup for anyone who is interested.. window is is covered with MDF and sealed, then covered with tape, then more tape, then sheeting held up with tape :) the otherside is painted black, with net curtains and venetian blinds with window ornaments making it look normal.. window is open just a crack the positive pressure created by the extraction takes care of the rest.

And for anyone wondering.. the ceiling is suspended and I wouldn't trust it taking the weight.. so I used brackets to the wall studs to hang the filter and fans from.. used spring toggles in the plaster board ceiling to hold up the lights.
