try scuffing the seeds. take a small match box and line it with very fine sand paper. toss some seeds in there with another piece of sandpaper on top of them and shake pretty gently for a minute or so. this will help water penetrate and allow the seed to split easier. also you could put the paper towel in a ziploc bag and put it on something warm like a dvd player or heating pad etc.. both of these come from the bible. greg greens

Did you order in the original breeder's pack??
Attitude is just a "middle-man", not a breeder. They can't possibly test all of the seeds they are sent. If you have a problem with the beans, you should contact the breeder, not attitude. Just some advice.

yeah, i'd change the title of the thread to shitty barneys farm and crappy greenhouse seeds and not the attitude as they have absolutely nothing to do with beans germing imvho..

Change the paper towel and soak with fresh water. Put inside a ziplock and make it into a little greenhouse for them.
Some seeds take longer to germ naturally, and some are old stock so you just need to really soften up that outer shell.
Don't give up on them!

Like other people have said, change seedbanks.
I would highly recommend TGA, I've had a 100% germination ratio, and the quality is always jaw-dropping.
