I am setting up a grow area in my attic, I have good ventilation (roof exhaust fan on thermostat right above area. my problem /question is becuase my attic has open eaves and a ridge vent in the roof the temp and humidity fluctuate with the outside temp... it can get real hot or cold depending on whats going on outside. I figure if i start now I will avoid the middle of the summer scorch. Its is not that cold anymore so cold is not an issue. if I keep a fan runnig while lights are on this should help move the hot air away from plants? any input on this setup would be appreciated

Attic grows are dangerous because the heat sig can be seen from helicopters and the fluctuation is pretty rediculous. If you insulate really really well, you can avoid this as long as the air comes from below and goes out the top. You may want to consider getting an A/C unit to regulate heat.

I have ac ducts up there I could tap into that to cool a small area where the grow room is...?
