Atshark 1000w LED grow light?

Looks like it’s a 100w light and would only flower roughly a 1.5’x1.5’ area

save your money and buy a better light.

For real!! I bought an sf1000 for 150. Now they sell em for 80 lmfao. Fucking twats.
put down 4-600 dollars. Your return will come back in a single harvest (assuming you know what your doing).

My area is a 32"x32"x63" grow tent, does that make any difference? I think it says it will flower a 2.5'x2.5' area. Would it be beneficial as supplemental with my 600w mh/hps?

I won't be putting down 4-600 on any lights, any time soon.
You get what you pay for.

^ That light would be perfect for your space and will outperform your HPS all day long. Light upgrades pay for themselves in a few months, if you know what you're actually doing.

Or just stick with the 600, if you're gonna insist on being stingy with your monies.

I don't have monies to not be stingy with. Thank you

How would spending $268 to replace a 600 watt HPS pay for itself in a couple months? What if you have cheap electricity as in less than 0.05¢ kwh? It's would to take much longer than a couple months for that light to pay for itself. You have to factor in power costs which vary widely. You can't just make a blanket statement and say the light will pay for itself in a couple of months because that's not true for everyone.

Plus $124 in shipping from China with no guarantee that the light might get lost in the shipping mess going on for a few months.

So $268 + $124 = $392. The only savings is electricity. It would take a couple years for that light to pay for itself using my power costs. I also don't think there would much if any improvement in yield over a 600 watt HPS.

1 year of consistency. Will outrun what he pays for in cannabis. That’s for most consumers. Not selling a leaf that is.
The only way that light doesn’t pay for itself. Is if he fails after fails. Assuming he has a lock on growing 6 months time under the right light will yield 8-16 ounces. Essp under the new technology they have now with the new style of leds. Before I’d agree 100%. But after all these new light broke ground. It’s almost impossible not to at least break even.
and I’m referring to money saved from buying cannabis cash outta pocket. I know for fact saved me 1000s of dollars a year.

I don't have a lock on it, but I do alright. I get what you're saying i just don't have that kind of money. I'm disabled and not working. I also don't get any government funds. My wife makes all of our money and this will save her at least $3000/yearly in cost of cannabis alone.

Then a 300 dollar light doesn’t seem like a bad idea at that point. But if you already have a light. Might as well right that the best you can if money is an issue. I understand that part alone

It's not a bad light but it's overpowered the small space he has and only 62" height. OP: I'd look into CMH in your case, very nice to grow with and about right foot print.

Underlighting? The thing is, I got it for only $35, I feel like I should at least get my money out of it
What about the hassle if this light fucks up your grow? I'd happily lose 35$ for a successful grow. That space don't need any more light if you can make it work with a HPS 600w

I hear you bruv. I will truly upgrade my lights someday. I had certain circumstances that forced me indoors and a small budget. So this time the bulk of my budget went to exhaust and odor control

A friend of mine replaced a 600 with a 480 watt QB style light. He was averaging 16 per harvest. Over the past 3 harvests since switching lights, his yield average increased by 2.5 ounces to 18.5. I don't know where you live, but in my part of the world, cannabis is worth money.

You didn't factor in bulb costs.

Electricity is expensive af where I live.

They get hot in the center too though.

I didn't catch the height of his space the first time I read it, so yeah, that 480 will get hot in the middle.
