Ativan / Lorazepam

So, I was prescribed this by my doctor. 2mg pills. Today was the first day I went to class with it and honestly... I don't even remember what happened during half of the day. Does anyone else use this and possibly experienced anterograde amnesia?

I just felt loopy as fuck all day. Kind of uncomfortable actually...

Start off with either .5mg or 1 mg. 2mg is what I use to sleep. And if you really don't want to remember anything have a few drinks. I cann't tell you how many times I've had sex after a few drinks and 2mg and don't remember a thing.

I would not take more than 1mg during the day.

Damn. I feel sorry for the girl you were in bed with. Isn't Lorazepam a very strong antipsychotic commonly prescribed for Schizophrenia? If this isn't prescribed to you by your doc, you should not be messing around with psychotropic meds.

common for ativan. i would take the whole bottle in one night and forget everything. almost got a 3some from my girl and her friend on them though. just passed out before i could get them the liquor they wanted lol, but they had that look in their eye.

I think it is a hypnotic/tranquelizer like xanax and valum. actually benzo's, but not for sckitzoo's

It's a tranquilizer. I have problems sleeping.

Thanks for the info fellas. I just took a half a pill today and still have the nice antianxiolytic feelings.... we'll see how my short term memory lasts.

Whats your guys thoughts on this shit? I kinda don't like the lack of control it kinda creates. Not to mention driving yesterday, I fucking had to keep one eye closed because the lines on the fuckin road kept crossing and going in fucked up directions. :O

loraz is a benzo yeah..i just got presibed .5mg for my anxiety..does loraz only last a few hours serotonin? im not really supposed to take the shit..only when i need to..but how long does it last? i get mad fuckin anxiety at school..my body goes into a brand new mode like fleet mode..get me the fuck out of here mode .. its crazy feeling inside and fuckin imposibble to control attimes..im done...serotonin pelase reply

The halflife is like 12 hours at a minimum. I take 1mg in the morning and it lasts me all day.

that is exactly what they are supposed to do. i wouldn't recommend taking those before you have to do anything requiring you to be awake with memory.
