I have some black roots in flood and drain. Res temps are 18 and feeding every 2 hours 5 weeks in flower. No light leaks into pots.
I have had root rot before in a different system and it was nothing like this. Plants are fine showing no signs of deficiency or droop., No smell, no slime, roots not sticking together and they have hairs, but the roots are black no brown just black.
I am wondering if it is the Atami Hydro Rokz staining the roots black as it is sort of broken in texture not round like normal clay and has a black core.
