Ash Residue after Dabbing

Howdy. Ive noticed from one specific extract Company here in colorado has product that leave behind some form of Ash n shit.

I never experienced this before. Any insight?

Someone will tell you definitively what it is but I suspect it is wax. A friend in the CBD industry that does fractal distillations tells me that they collect those waxes and add them back to their balms to make them go on smooth without stickiness. Sampled some of his product and it was pretty amazing stuff. Anyway, I digress.

Longer chain molecules than the C-10 through C-22 that we covet. Probably fats, lipids, waxes, b carotene, and pheophytin.

What color is the extract before dabbing?

I'll be open- Apothecary Farms is tje extract company... Recently left them.

All their shatters and waxes have had residue left behind
