I have an ART-DNe C.A.P. Adjustable Cycle Timer. I like that I am able to set any ON-OFF cycle that I want so easily, but I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem with the timer clicking before turning on.
I have the timer set to [5 min ON / 45 min OFF] There are some times when the timer is scheduled to turn on that it goes through a series of clicking for several minutes before the device is powered on. Other times the timer just powers on immediately with no clicking, which is why it leads me to think something is wrong. The clicking is so annoying because it'll literally click for 5 minutes and as I'm wondering wtf is going on with the timer, it suddenly powers on. Thought maybe it may have been a fuse but the fan plugged into the same outlet works perfect.
Maybe it is a manufacturer defect or is this normal operation for the timer?
