Am going to be starting a grow soon and was thinking 2 large sativas around 6' and was wondering if 1 190 on top and 2 on each side would be enough lights or possibly a 4th. Obviously would rotate plants to utilize the 2 side lights as much as possible. Thanks.

For 2 it might work but u might not get penetration all the way into the plant. I'd check out multipass's grow going on rite now. He has about a 3' going rite now with one on top. Prob a good reference to try and figure out how it would work on a 6' I think it would probably work though. Have you ordered them yet? I'm waiting for them to come back in stock. Site says by the 27th so we'll see

You're going to need more than 1 LED for two six foot tall sativa plants.

He said one on top and two on each side. Now him saying possibly a 4th makes me think 3 lamps instead of 5, two for side lighting and one for above. But man, he should probably consider less to no veg time. 6' plants are a monster. Not worth it by any means to me. Might as well manage clones indoors and do outdoor grows with those if geographically possible.

I agree the largest my plants get is about 4 foot tall and that's during flower at the peak of their high and I even think that is a bit large. The plants in the dispensary are all small , they keep them all one high prob about 3 feet tall in the scrog. The way they do it is to harvest as quickly as possibly by taking clones off large healthy mothers to reduce veg time then they have a killer CO2 release system and a ton of 1000w HPS lights. In the time I have had one harvest the dispensary I go to is on their 3rd...

Yea that's nice! lol I use LEDs too that's what I am hoping for some freaking gland action on my buds total frosting!

Thanks for the replys. Yes I Ment 1 led on Top To Get Light 3' Or So Deep And 1 Light On Each Side To Light The other 3' of plants from side.

Well not sure exact height. It's bigger than me at 6' even. I do suppose 2 that big might be a lot of work but inside I have up to my 10 or 12' ceilings to work with. Just figured 1 or 2 bigger plants 1 grow a year would be better than 4-5 plants and multiple grows. Thanks for the advice guys.
