Are we stealing from future generation

Fem seeds are kinda flooding the market. How does this affect the gene pool of the seed it produces? I recall growing bag seed with good results without hermaphrodites many years ago that were pretty comparable to great strains by breeders. Second yes, but definatly worth my time to grow alongside for some variety and expand my curiosity a little. It seems its a going trend that many bagseed grows are almost all hermies. Are we infecting the general genetics of seed produced from your average grower? Some kick ass genetics are just kinda stumbled across, like NYC desiel, BOGglegum, The lemon skunk male from Vegas to make the cup winner by greenhouse. I am sure there are more strains out there made from curiosity. Will finding rareitys be a thing of the past the more we introduce fem seeds into the population?

well all i have grown so far is bagseed and i havent had a single plant go hermie on me but you definetly have raised a good question. being as how most breeding is done in an uncontrolled environment with few studies being done about it, the longterm effects of all this gennetic playing will be unknown until they happen.

BOG bred Bogglegum by crossing Northern Lights #5 X Bubblegum. I don’t believe he accidentally stumbled onto that one. NYC Diesel from Soma came from a Sour Diesel X Afghani Hawaiian cross. Was that accidental or even though Soma is credited with it Soma's is just a knockoff of the stumbled upon created original NYC Diesel?
