So I am at day 66 of flower today for a couple different species of plants. I was wondering what everyone thought.
I'm seeing a few amber trichs under the scope. Mainly cloudy but still a bunch of clears. maybe clear/cloudy/amber of 30/50/20.
I cut down the 2nd largest cola on one plant cleaned it up and hung it overnight. There is a picture below of this bud today. Are they ready?

They look real good man but i would reckon you should wait a week b4 u cut the rest down. I dont even use a scope i just wait till most of the big fans fall off and im left with a super stony giant bud on a stick

I have been flushing for 8 days now with. Should I keep flushing for another week or so? When using RO water do I want to add any CalMag? I havent been and it seems like they are showing those deficencies more than anything else.

i flush for 2 weeks full and as far as the other stuff goes i really dont know man i grow organic and ive been lucky to avoid deficiencies so far

Yea I have stuck to pureblend pro and karma for the whole cycle but I figure i try flushing. This is the first time I've actually tried flushing for a long time. But they seem to be doing pretty good so far so I'll keep it up.

You can keep flushing but i think after day 8 of RO flushing you should be fine just watering with RO water til she's done, and maybe even go without water the last few days to help speed the drying process... don't add anything at all, keep on with the RO cal mag is nutes and you'll taste it in the smoke... +1 on Murderalley's comments, I went and bought a pocket microscope from radio shack and call me a retard but i couldn't tell anything without cutting a leaf off and setting it down and even then i couldn't tell if they were amber or if it was from the shitty yellow light on the microscope, regardless the plant shows maturity in other ways, the amber trichome test is the tryed and true method, but sometimes you have to improvise.... anybody know any better pocket microscopes for cheap? lemme know! goodluck with that harvest!

Alright so I waited until Last thursday (day 68) and I turned out the light and turned off the water pumps. I let them sit until Sunday (day 71) when I chopped trimmed and hung the branches. The hung pics were taken just today after a full day of hanging @ 65 F 45-50% Humidity. Left to right seperated by the clips on the string are... str x ECSD, Sensi Star, Aurora, str x Afgui...:bigjoint:.. What do you all think???

Good job man those are some tasty lookin buds, that short huge wad of buds is sick dude, do you know what the strains are? especially the one that produced that huge wad? keep growin good dope

ANDYK is right. I read in Hightimes onces that magnesium burns ur throat more than phosphorus and chlorophyll and also said specifically to stop calmag for flush.

Testing your run off is the best way to see if your plant
is flushed, if your run off is near 0 PPM there is nothing
in the soil, that is ideal for flush.

Thanks. They turned out great so far. Been jarred for weeks. havent really broke into them yet. The Aurora is tasty! highly recommend it from nirvana seeds. Also sensi star has some amazing buds.
