Are these trichomes clear or milky? (Harvest)

Hey guys take a look at these pics for me and tell me whether you think they are milky or just all clear. How long until harvest?

the look fine but u still have awhile. i usually wait til the white hairs turn 60%(just over half) orange

If you're going to be using trichomes as an indicator, you need to buy a scope. You can only really tell at hi magnification, you have to check the bud not the leaves, and you need to be able to focus it because you need to look at the trichomes at different levels to know for sure. Hydro shops carry cheap ones or you order off eBay. It's worth it, very necessary tool.

i think i have about two-3 weeks until harvest..started flushing yesterday. I put a pic of the bud itself

Yeah, that plant looks like it's close to flush time. Without seeing the trich's I think you're close in your timing. That plant looks real pretty.

Very nice flowers! You still have a decent amount of white hairs so with 2 more weeks you should be good. Nice, yeah good timing.

yeah i cant wait, great strain its actually considered to be 100% indica which makes me think because its stretchy and leaves are more sativa like

the trich heads will still get bigger, id say you still have 2-3 weeks.

you dont need to really hae high magnification. the way i tell if by the trichome heads because i dont have a powerful microscope. just a strong maginify glass on a lid of this cup thing. i toss a bud insde and can see the trich heads clearly. if they are swollen up and fat its done. if its more long with a smaller head then it still has time

Figured i'd look for a thread like this instead of starting my own.. Can you guys tell me how these trics look? I'm thinking of chopping her tops off today and let the rest of her go for another 4-5 days.

Suggestion... if you are using a digital camera, look for a macro setting. Its designed for close up detail shots. Good work though.

sadly those are macros. I'm no expert on picture taking but it seems difficult to get good macro shots. Does the plant look ready?
