Are these thrips? Silver looking spots on leaves. Will imidacloprid knock them out?

Are these spots caused by thrips? Here's a few pictures of the afflicted leaves.

If so, or if not, tips on combating whatever it is? Will imidacloprid work? I've heard spinosad works great but IMID is what I have on hand.

i have spots like those on mine too but on the older leaves. It's only a month old but i'm not sure if it's thrips. I spotted on two thrips but i haven't seen any other ones. could it be a deficiency or stress?

Mine as well are only on the lower leaves. I'm hoping its a deficiency, I wasn't particularly taking too good of care for this set (seeing as it was bagseed) but just started giving them nutes a week or so ago after nothing but straight tap water for the 1-1.5mo's. The IMID treatment went well, it didn't burn or stress the plants AFAIK. I'll report back later tonight to see if it did or didn't spread to the upper leaves.

I found a thrip on mine, and leaves have the same spots like yours. Check the under leaves with magnifier. If you see black specks (thrimp feces), probably thrips are the problem.
