Are these seeds or pollen sacs or what???????

This is a chocolope, about 4 weeks into flowering. It is a clone of a plant that was definitely female. Most of the plant looks fine, but on some of the lower branches are these things:

However, the upper branches look only like this:

Can I just pick those things off, or must I trash the whole thing?

Did you have light problems on this clone? Hermie... Sorry...
The first pix show balls dangling...
Pollen sacks, if one opens seeds , your buds will produce seeds......
In my plants, if exposed it takes about 10-14 days minimum for seeds to form, sometimes as long as 20 days....
Good Luck...

Any chance of picking them off, or is that just stupid? They're only present in a few specific places on the bottom 1/3 of the plant.

I would try picking them off, I just had a Chocolope hermie on me due to heat issues and I picked off a few balls and my heat issue was fixed and it is back to normal and looking good!

As long you are not concerned about infecting other plants or if you are breeding then you can just pick those off and let it go.

if that is your only plant pick them off, if you have more toss it, if that is your only one I would pick those off and roll the dice, the bud in the pic looks good and female, so you might be ok, as long as it don't decide to spread up . usually they hermy from the bottom and spread to the top. so you may have to harvest before the triclodes are milky, doing so will still give you a buzz. just start you flush early, and if it decide to herm all the way up before it produces seeds, you can harvest any time, and get some smoke is better then none,

Think it has to be trashed. Found a few more seeds higher up. Not too many at all, but i think it will likely be an ongoing battle that isn't worth losing. Plus, the chance of infecting others.....

*Update* Looks like I was too late. The chocolope right next to it (70 days flowering) also has a bunch of these sacs too.

Does this mean that every plant in the room also got hit???? It must mean that, right?

Most likely they will all have seeds but not necessarily all hermie, My Chocolope that also just hermied was one of 10 and only 6 hermied due to some power outages I had. If they are all going to have seeds no reason to trash them Imo I would just finish them and get some decent top buds and turn the rest into extract.

I didn't know this was how it worked. I thought that if a female plant is hit with pollen, it just start producing seeds, but doesn't become a hermie itself and start producing more pollen. Uh, I don't know actually. Because I just found 2 plants that looked a bit hermie....
