sorry for the side track, but since Phriendly talks about "super hard tap water", has anyone tried bringing that down to a more acceptable pH by using simple, natural, and, well, cheap, means such as pure lemon juice or vinegar?
After all, we're looking at citric acid or acetic acid so, with my usual "in theory" caveat, it should be a relatively cheap method to regulate the water pH without nasty chemicals or any expensive brand named products which could do the same job.
Just one of my thoughts, why use expensive stuff when there's something more "natural" and "eco friendly" in a closet or the fridge in your own house?
