Are these ready to be harvested?

I was editing my original post to add a few more pictures when you responded.

The hairs are at least 50 % red.

In your expert opinions - if I wait a bit longer will the buds on the lower branches get bigger and more potent?

Or - will I miss the optimum window to harvest if I wait for the lower buds to mature?

Also - one of them is a white widow and it doesn't look like the others I have seen with all of the "snow". Do they take a bit longer to mature?

Oh yeah - these are in their 9th week of flowering.

umm its totally up to u bro. I think those plants looks great and u could prob. harvest.But if u do want to wait a lil longer and if the buds are still growin then the lowwer branches could possiblly grow bigger.How long has ur plant been in the flowerin stage??

Thanks fdd - I am a bit disappointed with the yield. Waaah.

For my second grow I am going to focus on increasing the yield.

I was a bit surprised by the challenge it was to raise a couple of weeds! Geee.

Is it your opinion that I should harvest now - or would it be best to wait a bit longer?

Go buy a little 60x-100x power lighted scope at Radioshack for 10 bux. Look at the trichomes,those little mushroom like glandular blobs of love. if they be cloudy or amber your set, if they still be clear, wait til they go a bit more.

if only half the hairs are red, id wait maybe another week or 2. Getting a scope to check trichs is another good way to make sure theyre ready.

i hold out as long as i can. as long as i can see new growth from one day to the next i let them keep growing.
