Are these pre flowers?

I'm just wondering if they are pre flowers. Possibly if so is it female or male?

Kind of hard to make out m8 but they look to be stipules and not preflowers..
Preflowers will be in just about the same place but over the stipule between a node ( where the branch meets the main stem) and are much smaller than stipules ime..
How old are the plants? Usually from seed you can see preflowers around week 6ish from germ.. sometimes longer and sometimes a bit shorter..

PS.. if you could try and get a pix that is a bit closer it would definitely help as I'm on my phone and oix are tiny to begin with..

Yea it's in 12/12. The stipules are right next to them. Hard to see phone just blurs out up close
