Are these pre-flowers?

Are they pre-flowers? I get kind of confused with the whole pre-flower part. I can tell the difference from female and male flowers, but are these also pre-flowers or is my plant auto-flowering?

This is at the top of the apical meristem, or the floral meristem seeing as it switched from opposite phyllotaxy to alternate nodal arrangment already.

Yeah, you're lucky you weren't asking about male preflowers because in this stage your crop might have been ruined.

Congrats though.

Well, I aint in 12/12 yet, those showed up under 24/0, so your telling me my plant has begun to flower and produce buds under 24/0? As an auto-flower strain? I'd appreciate it if you explained what you meant. If their more than pre-flowers what are they, buds?
 
not something i would expect to see on a plant in 24/0. i've never used 24/0 so i am unfamiliar with it. but i don't think this is normal. it looks good. i would put it on 12/12.
 
some strains show preflowers after some weeks under veg cycle light without being auto-flowering strains, it is just away of them to show that they matured and would like to have a bit different light now;)

so the question is how old is this baby?
 
Wow, 13-14 weeks of veg? That is insane, how big is the plant? You know it will nearly double its size during flowering right?

2ft 8 Inches. And yes I know, almost 6 fucking feet. I can always open the attic hatch and let em grow up into the attic haha. Stay tuned and maybe I'll update throughout the flowering period.
 
Hopefully you can keep us updated with these plants, sounds like your gonna have a monster on your hands sometime soon.
 
What kind of lighting is that? Looks like light penetration is a problem, I bet those girls would love to be LST'd.
 
Buy a few more floros (or buy the correct light like an hps) and run them vertically....like an old Phototron.

Give em some serious sidelighting and forget the LST...ya just don't have the room.
