are these mite eggs or something else ?

I didn't get a long look in the tent yesterday and today I noticed what seems to be eggs on a few of the fan leaf stems a few on the underside of the ridges of the leafs ridges and a few on the main stalk out in the open. My first thought was oh crap spider mites but in looking through pictures online they almost look to big and what I see online looks soft where as these are stif like plastic. So if crushed they crunch.
I went through with a piece of duct tape and removed them all during a complete check over (which will be repeated again) and I will be spraying them down tonight. Wanted to make sure I am going after whatever it is with the right stuff.
If these are mites let me know please or if you think it is something else please correct my direction I'm heading.
Sorry if the pics are not perfect, I am still getting used to taking macro shots and getting the right focus was very hard.

yes, but not a huge infestation, just what would be normally expected with a soil grow. KNocked them back with a gognats soil drench and follow up application once so far. Are you thinking gnat eggs ? I had just assumed they would lay the eggs in the soil. do they lay eggs on the plant ?

I wish I had saved some in a jar to hatch cause I have no clue what they are. nothing but gnats on my sticky traps and I think I know every inch of those plants better than the back of my hand after inspecting them over and over and starting to lollie pop them. I spent an hours sitting in the tent (listening to music) watching the air walls the branches leaves and soil... the only thing I saw was 2 gnats which I squished.
I figure what ever it was either came in the soil or hopped on during the last transplant cause my tent is kept on a positive pressure with a filtered intake.

Some better pictures.... I can only guess it is some sort of gnat that lays eggs on stems as all I have ever seen in my garden is some gnats. It doesn't make sense though as when I do see them they are always around the soil and I see no damage from burrowing larve.
I've tried checking bug forums online and various searches but can't find a sure answer.
Very strange little eggs, Almost looks like a glazed donut. Hollow inside straight threw.
Any input from these pics ?
