I am going to try LST for the 1st time. I was just wondering if I should start now on the bigger plants.

Thanks

What about now. The stems are getting thick. I just dont want to get to the point where it is to hard for me, I have never done this before. Thanks

disregard the little one in the 1st pic. He is my new addition to the family I put in the tent on Saturday (LarryOG Clone)

Looks to me like you can start bending, just make sure leaves aren't resting in the soil. Not sure what kind of LST you are shooting for (all spread out, circling the pot, bent), but I find that if I let it get 6-8 inches tall and bend over once, the bushiness fills in my space almost too well, and that's with 4 plants in a 2' x 3' cabinet. With all those plants in that tent, don't get too carried away.

Are the pots totally covering the floor? If so, your canopy will probably fill out great with a topping or two. This is all just opinion as I have only grown a few times myself. I'll post some pics of my LST experience if you want.

yeah, could you. I have topped before using Uncle Bens technique with sucess. I just couldnt keep the canopy down. So i figured i would try this. This is only my 4th (maybe 5th cant remember) grow.

start lsting it all the way around the pot and then top it when you get all the way around. more main colas... thats not my plant in the pic but thats idealy how it should look

Here you go. Here's when I first tied them down:

Here's when I switched to flower:

And here's toward the end of flower:

Wound up with 7+ ounces off those three.

Yeah, I only bent them over that one time, then released them when they were getting bigger and trained in their growing pattern.
