Are these balls

I was checking my "girls" this morning and on one branch I noticed what looks like a cluster of balls. Three little pods together. See photo, but not too clear.

So do I pinch the balls off and allow that branch to grow or do I cut it off at the base? Note the other three branches have female flowers developing.

Here's two more photos.

Question: Since the plant went hermie, do I pinch off the balls or cut this one branch off at the base?

I know that cutting anything off while flowering puts stress on the plant, which I don't want to do. So guru's advice is needed!! ;-)

Are you positive its a hermie and not a male? You might just be in male denial right now. You can try to pinch the sace but they grow fast and more grow in its place. It can be quite tedious towards the end. Also keep checking on them it only takes a few hours to a day for a seed to grow and release pollen.

Edit: its always hard letting go of your loved ones, this is my first grow had to kill a couple hermies myself.

No, I'm not in denial that it's a male plant :-) I Fimmed (FIM) this plant at day 9 and it grew four branches from the base of the plant. Three of the branches have female pistils and flowers developing, this one branch went hermie all by itself.

So my question is, should I just cut off the entire branch? Since the sacks will grow grow back in it's place, is cutting off the entire branch at the base the only avenue of saving it?

If you have other plants in the room, I would definately ditch the hermie. It's not worth the risk it presents.

Is it the only plant you have? if so, keep cutting them off, if not get rid and focus on your other plants

I only have two plants and would at least like to try & save this one, if possible.

That's why I'm asking the same question over & over:

Can I cut off the entire branch at the base and still save this plant?

I cut off the branch that went hermie and I'll be watching the other three closely.

I know this will stress the plant, so it'll be interesting to see if it's able to recover and stay a female, or go completely hermie on me and turn male.

Either way, at least I'm protecting the other plant from getting pollinated.

Thanks to all for your help!!
