Are the first true leaves supposed to fall off...?

I seem to have some yellowing on the first true leaves. It seems a lot like the wilting of the cotyledon leaves, but i'm not sure. I was just wondering if it was a bad thing or just normal.

same here, my plants are sprouting the third set of leaves (4 at once) and the first two leaves are yellowing.

don't sweat it. the bottom leaves will yellow and fall off. just part of the process.

bottom leaves get ugly like maupin's avatar...but watch the others for future referance and preferance and collie and a girl named molly......jolly
