I really don't know if it would be enough. It would probally work. Another alternative would be going to wal mart and getting a couple cfl's in the orange spectrum.

Yea that ought to work...the only problem I foresee is that since it's 4' long it's not exactly concentrated on that one plant like a CFL would be...but I still think it would work.

sexing a plant from a clone??? why would u do this? you take clones if you KNOW thier females... or if you really want males or somthing.???

Why dont you flower the main plant... then take clones? it takes longer to flower a clone...

You take a single clone, and shove it under 12/12 to determine sex of the mother. By the way, for sexing plants, would 10/14 or 11/13 be more effective for quicker sexing?

yes sexing from a clones so i dont have to flower the mother. its my first grow and i wanna see what i got growing.

if they are males i wil discard. females keep obviously

Ive read if you take a clone from a flowering plant it loses some of its genetic stuff. It was explained like this, "if you print a copy and copy that copy its still the same thing, just less clear"
