when using a vero 29 on arctic alpine 11 plus cooler do you mill the pad for a bigger surface or do you center it up good? i got these to use 18's on but need to step up to the 29's. i don't have the 29 cobs in hand yet.

Ah that sucks. I bombed in early veg all over the place and got rid of everything, almost a year ago and still holding strong. Got some good strains to work with?

got a couple 88g13/hash plants both female but have two more beans to try for a male for breeding. got a bubba kush 2.0, white widow x big bud, and sour diesel. got some killing fields, white widow, mazar and night shade to pop when i get some room. thinking of adding a new flower box to push a little more. i was gifted some beans from some frinds on another site that have some nice genes as well. even have some purple cheese autos given to me to try but thinking about running them outdoors mid summer.

As a current user of......still......A11's. I say ditch them and go for some passive DIY sinks from Northern Grow lights or something from Mechatronix for the Vero's [both active/passive].

The A11's are great and solid chunk of metal makes for good mass, but but but... Vero's tend to be a tight fit on the Arctic's because of that bevel. It works, but can be funky.
Again, as a current user. I suggest using something at this point designed for cobs. Its almost a no brainer other than price. Which isn't terrible either.

and which version of Vero 29? Gen 7 has three voltage choices 35 52 70

Well lets bump this thread more so maybe we can pull more answers for ya lol

Ive done probably around five or six auto runs anywhere from 1-30 per run. What ive found out with them is that they can be great smoke, or shit smoke. Pretty unpredictable. Also you have no idea what size theyll be, i dont think most of the breeders know either lol. Ive had them go six and a half feet with a five pack of auto ultimate, and less than one foot with mephisto. So, in the future i wont be giving up on autos because seriously one of my favorite plants ever was an auto i got as a freebie from GorrilaSeedBank, but i will be only running one or two at a time indoors, or just running them outside in five or seven gallon pots with minimal effort put into them. Yup, outside on the back deck with no prep or anything. The one footers from mephisto were like footballs, they got so big and fat, that they molded, and that seems to be a very common problem with them.

It sounds like you have some real oldschool fire in the bean pile. I hope you find some good phenos to breed that male to. Everything these days is goldfish mint puppies x with death lock candy dogs breath. I cant keep up with all the funny names.

to answer your question. it will be the 35v (38.7) as the drivers i have are the lpc-60-1400 with 9 to 42v or i got to come up with different drivers for the 18's with the 11's.. will look into the other heat sinks as well. i'm still trying to learn.

bro you know, i don't get to try much as they still throw you under the jail here. growing on the smaller side i don't get to push much so i'm way behind on the genes, and always wondered what the auto's were all about. can't say i have ever toked any and have never grown any. they were gifted to me and may not even pop. i just can't bring myself to buy any.

Thats funny, i just bought a bunch for my friends mom. Shes probably around your age and never grown or even smoked weed, but she's addicted to the cannabis craze. She hooked on the hype, shes whacky for weed. She asks me questions all the time about everything from plant food to cooking tips. Shes not a smoker but she wants to get some to cook with. I figured i do one better and get her a christmas present that she can really enjoy. The ones i got her are fast berry autos, they stay really small and are a blueberry cross. Supposed to grow purple and around a foot tall. I thought that would be perfect for her garden!
