Does an aquarium create a decent amount of CO2? Its a 55g saltwater w/ 6 fish. I might convert to freshwater so i can make my girls absorb fish waste from the water. Anyone tried it?
Btw for anyone who is knowledgeable of fish.. Cichlids or Tetras?

pretty sweet idea, i keep saltwater tanks myself... but I dunno how much co2 the tank would create... I sure would be interested if they do because I have a few... good idea with the fish waste... Ive always wanted to try using my skimmate as fertilizer haha

I looked up some articles on aquaponics and if you dont mind the algae then you could float those girls right on top with the bubbler underneath and have good bud. But dont try it on the saltwater, unless you got some salt tolerant variety (which to my knowledge doesn't exist) Good luck to ya, ill probably get a journal started soon cuz i got lots of bagseed :)

haha yeah ive grown mangroves in my tank before... but thats their natural environment... still it might be interesting to try once I have a clone with some roots...
