apollo 130 watts questions

Hi to all!

I have been lurking in the forum for sometimes and I have some question about the apollo lights.

I have contacted cidly for one of those lights, and they ask me if I wanted to custom spectrum, but I am not sure about what to request? any tips?

Secondly I want to get a grow tent, for this sort of light what size should I get?

I mostly grow low ryders these days

and a 180W must be a 6 spot light, yes ?

I have a 8 spot



and I customized it for flowering, with two blue less and two more Red`s so to speak

so my spectrum look like this:

8x620
16x630
32x640
32x660
8x700
and
8x455
16x6500K

should I do it agin (I might soon )

I would swap out the last blue and one of the Red`s and add some more white`s maybe 2700K

I also considered to go with a more Area 51 style (Area 51 = US LED company) and go all out white/660nM maybe 3x6500K 8x2700K and 4x660K per spot

but there is a lot of different opinions here, but one thing I for sure would do, if I was going to get one for Auto`s as they only have 2-3 weeks of Veg is to customize it for flowering = less blue and more red so maybe like me swap out a few blue maybe for some more white`s 2700K/6500K

auto just sprout and go into flowering, they are ready in 8 weeks. Of course you do not get huge quantities but just it is just like cloning and putting them into flowering . Also you do not need to bother with photo period. You have a point to have a light customised for flowering...

yea what I meant, if you grow auto`s no need for a light for Veg, customize it for flowering

if it was me I would maybe just ask em to swap out the Blue LEDs with 2700K they also have a bit of blue light and with the 6500K they will cover that, just how I might do it
