So I am pretty sure I have Aphids. Has anyone else ever dealt with them? If so, what is the best way to get rid of them. I am 53 days into flowering. I was reading in the FAQ that I using detergent or soap to rid bugs is not good during flowering. What are some other methods..PLEASE HELP

Is it okay to use lady bugs this far into flowering? Do I just put them in the grow room and let them be? Also what is diatomaceous earth?

Im sorry ima newbie. Thanks in advance

yea its ok, go 2 a plant store and buy a box of them let some go they should nock out your problem, if your room is 2 hot they will die asap, i use air cooled lights and a ac unit my room dont get over 76 i allways let a few go in my room regardless i like them there there fun 2 watch

Yeah, like raiderfan says, you can definitely use them. Just don't overheat them, and be sure to shake out your buds before smoking. ;)

Wiki diatomaceous earth, it's used a lot for soft-bodied insect control.

I think you can get some sort of organic pest sprays because i know people use them for their tomatoes and stuff but I dont know any names of any good ones. so thats not much help. seems like ladybugs would be good. since mine is in a closet i wouldnt use them just because i'd be worried they'd crawl all over my house! :)

We have a lot of farm land about 15 miles from me.Every year a large establishment *no names due to location revelation* releases a few billion to clear the fields. If your home isn't well sealed guess what happens....You got it.All over the house. They accumulate on windows and I just hit them with the vac.

I think they release them as soon as it gets warm enough.A old timer does alot of vegetable gardening a lil to far away to get a bunch of them to his fields so he goes out and catches a ton of them then puts them in the fridge. The cold knocks them out and he just hold on to them and releases a hundred or so every week.
Think he said you can keep them i the fridge for a year with no problem.
