the biggest problem with the spidermites is you can kill the adults or mature ones with neem oil, safer soaps sprays dish soap, ect.......its the eggs that hatch every 2-3 days that you cant kill....they keep hatchin....only thing I have used that worked was Avid.....that was in veg and when the plants were baby clones .... Avid has a 2 month residual effect

................................................................Dont apply any type of insecticide to your buds..............................................................................

Avid is a very strong insecticide concentrate.......normally you want to use this only if you pull starts/clones and dont grow from seeds.....if you grow from seeds, just clean your area with a water bleach mix ..1/2 cup bleach to 1 gallon water.....before your next crop....Most infestations start from the introduction of new clones to your area that have mites or houseplants in your home will have them

Whenever I mix a batch of Avid I use a 1 quart spray bottle filled with water.... then I get a eye dropper to add the AVID.... you only need to add 4-5 drops of avid to the water.

Avid can be bought here http://www.ask.com/bar?q=avid+insecticide&page=3&qsrc=2417&zoom=Homemade+Natural+<KW>Insecticides</KW>|Homemade+<KW>Insecticide</KW>+Recipes|<KW>Insecticide</KW>+Products&ab=4&u=http://www.growersupply.com/av8ozmi.html

When applying AVID to your plant....wear rubber gloves to avoid direct contact to the skin.....its best to apply outside or in a well ventilated area.....apply to young plants...small plants are easier to apply the avid solution to less leaves.....Apply to the bottom and tops of the leaves, generously...let the avid dry on the plants.....the avid stays within the plant for 2 months thats another reason why you spray young plants.

Avid attacks the spidermites central nervous system and renders adult mites sterile...no more eggs

Wash off the gloves and your hands with soap and water after apply Avid

Avid contains abamectin as its active ingredient and is in the glycoside class of chemistry listed in the MOA Group 6. Abamectin is a GABA (Gamma Amino Butyric Acid) agonist that results in the blocking of insects' nerve signals. The pests stop feeding, become paralyzed, and eventually die. Through translaminar activity, Avid actually penetrates the plant tissue and forms a reservoir of active ingredient inside the leaf cuticle. This reservoir protects the plant against pests that feed on foliage.
