Whats up again people, I was wondering what electrical issues I might encounter when tryin to wire a 1000 watt hps hid w/ ballast into an apartment. What are the determining factors to consider? Is it just plugged into the regular 120v wall socket or do I have to do some kind of special wiring? Thanks in advance!

my boy got away with that for 10 years in an apt. complax on the 6th fl. Entil he moved..it should cost you about 65/85$ per month for 1000w on avg. good luck

Dont you need to have a certain breaker for that much power... Like a heavy one that is on your stove , fridge or washing machine... ??

no it only draws 9 amps....a breaker is 13 or 15 amps im pretty sure..just dont plug in a toaster and heater in the same room or it will flip the breaker

right on thanks for the replies, that just made my day...that was the only thing I was on uncertain of, I'll get a journal going soon....
