Anyone using Scynce Led

I’ve searched the site and found very little on the Scynce brand fixtures. Does anyone have any grow experience with them? Thanks

it’s alot for a light that does less than the hlg 650r honestly.
Thanks for the reply. I am planning out a medical grow and am looking at the dragon alphas. They seem very close on specs. The Hlg gets 280 more umols and is 30 more watts. The alpha seems to have a considerably more even ppfd at 30”.
Are there any grow opts running either of these commercially?

I run the 650r's and mammoth. I've used the closetall sorts of lights the and I prefer hlg over all the others. The raging kush is the closest light compared to the 650r and the 650 still beats it. Hlg is better priced and if you call them with a big order they’ll drop the price a good bit. Generally at 15 lights or more like what I did.

The main reason to go with Scynce would be for the tunable spectrum feature. They are pretty dope lights in my opinion. Check out #scynceled on instagram if you are looking for more grows using them

My biggest thing with that is from a commercial standpoint the tunable spectrum would be useless. Most controllers won't support the feature and if you use their dedicated controller you would end up having more junk on the wall. My rooms all run trolmaster. I have no issues with good full spectrum lighting.

Pretty sure they have options to work with 3rd party controllers like Trolmaster. Some people want to be able to adjust spectrum so it's whatever floats your boat

Actually no I just got off the phone with them ylu have to use their controls which is app based and completely wireless. They're sending me a few dragons and kush 2.0's to run in my r&d lab so I can determine if they're going to work in my next building.

Here you go. Specific mentions of Trolmaster in their documentation. Hope this helps.

Yah they mentioned it on the phone but is getting phased out. I had a call with them to setup one of my rooms with a few hundred lights. Its pending on my blueprint being submitted to get the footprint on the dragons. But getting some test units as of now to run a side by side with my current equipment. Trust me if they keep it id rather use my trolmasters rather than some wireless shit.
