Anyone using pool shock instead of uc roots or clear Rez?????

Hey just wondering if anyone is actually using pool shock for a sterile environment I hydroguard is expensive and so is clear Rez and ucroots I’m looking to save money and trouble
How are people mixing it? What is the dilution rate?

I use it in my cloner. My tap water has chlorine so I use that to mix my res. If you run a res longer than three days you'll need to add some. Tyler.durden gives the dilution here:
