Anyone using AIR POTS???

Have you guys and gals heard of these air pots/smart pots/or whatever their called. Basically these pots allow air to enter the pot through tons of holes all over the pots, and some are made of fabric. The idea is that when the root gets to the air it will prune itself, which helps with root branching, and eliminates root circling, and root boundness.

I'm using one of the 5 gallon fabric pots and it seems to be working well, wish I had set-up a side by side comparison.

The fabric ones have been around for awhile... i used to get literature on them sent to me all the time.. Really meant as a cost effective way to grow trees commercially.

I use accelerators and rootmakers myself. I looked around and these were the highest quality. I use their liner sizes and it surely does "accelerate" them over anything else I have ever used.

Well I'm glad to hear you have has good results with them. I will invest in the higher quality plastic style for the next round.

No...but I will check them out... thanks.

Okay just did...same thing really. As you probably read...the emphasis is on trees and to prevent root circling...which for hardwoods is a real problem.... not so much for weed.
