You're going to get the same responses you received in the other thread you posted a few days ago on the same topic. Nothings changed.

The only scenario I can think of to use them would be if you had been vegging outdoors with a plan of flowering them indoors and wanted to keep them vegging longer by keeping the light cycle longer. In that scenario I suppose those lights would work for that purpose. The lights are not good for growing but could be used for photo's to keep them in veg under those circumstances when the daylight hours get short. In a situation like that I would just put the plants in a room with those lights on. Not bothering to hang them above the plants or anything but to keep them from thinking it was night. But you're growing auto's and those lights won't be good at all for growth. The auto's are going to flower regardless so I'd just go with the light you get outside.

This is frowned upon here. Keep your posts to one post. Don’t just repost because you didn’t like the answers.. you’re going to kill your plants if you keep doing that!

there’s a reason people DONT grow with halogen lights. Don’t even waste your time man.. just like others have said. Sell that thing and get a cheap HPS or LED. even some cfls would work better than that thing

No worries man! I’m sure we’ve all gotten yelled at for reposting at one point or another.. that’s how we learned lol :wall:

I’m lucky and have a bunch of grow shops near me, some cannabis specific. Even the ones that don’t have like $70 HPS hood/bulb combos. I’ve thought about getting one of those for when I have to pull this bad bitch in cause of weather. Or using one of my leds but those are in use..

Yes, Halogen-lamps work, but they are not very efficient and basically emit alot of IR & heat. If you think you need that, PLUS want to introduce more Far Red to the mainlight, its effects can be quite strong.

I got a question , I’ve got my plant harvested today and it’s in the shed . But it’s like 50• f out . Is that to cold for drying ? And is it best to cut whole plant down or stems ? I did both ...

Xenon gas bulbs make high veg light..... The problems are the same - High temps... Not to mention the cost of bulbs!
Xenon bulbs are the most expensive light bulbs there are.
Made for science mostly.

The gas is a very, very effective anesthetic! The thing is that refining it is HUGELY expensive! It's basically a very RARE item. It is a Noble gas on the periotic table.

I am encountering extreme hyponastic movement, steep stem to petiole angle, high turgor, vigorous but extreme stretchy growth, by adding a 70w Halogen Incand. to a 85w 7200k CFL + 10w UVA + 26w UVB CFL.

With this Halogen in conjunction with 2* 25w night vision FR/IR screened lights I am simulating down right now, EOD - sleep initiation:

Dawn EOD sleep, higher FR than PAR:

How will plants now grow under night FR light illumination, and daily brutal UVB UVA and blue insaturation?

or the killer UVC?:

NICE working experiment.... Not exactly clinical but, your making some interesting observations!
