Well towards the end of its life, last 2-3 weeks of flower, some strains do that. But it also could be root bind, a nutrient deficiency/overload, or you could just be over/under watering it.

Would need to know more about your plants and grow to know for sure. The brown spots could be from a calcium deficiency, the yellowing moving inward could be a potassium deficiency but usually you'd get more browning. But it could be a lockout not a deficiency. Again, it's hard to know without knowing how you've been treating your plants. And some leaves will die sometimes, it's not the worse thing in the world. How's the overall plant look?

Pulling off leaves (when done sparingly) can also increase terpenes. Light pruning stress can be beneficial for achieving maximum flavor and potency, you have to play with your strains. Some like to be fucked with and will grow better, other prefer a lighter touch.

MYTH! It will not do what you propose by any type of defoliation. Sorry.

What do you feed with and how much, how often?
List all supplements.
What media is it in.
If soil - what soil? Do you pH anything ? To what?
O.K. never heard that before. I'm wasn't talking about defoliation though. I'm saying if his plant is using the leaves because of a deficiency or toxicity by pulling the leaves off while their still green the plant is only gonna move on to the next healthy leaf.

DRY correctly! Nice but they left out that proper curing will preserve and "showcase" existing terp (flavor and smell) profiles.
Lower night time temps - NICE one!
Overall lower temps? Your not doing the plant potentials any help......But many do not go over 80F. That's a preference thing.
My canopy is about 90. Mid plant about mid 70's and the pots are around 68F......I get blindingly strong results that way...
Stressing? What do you think the temp adjustments are?
To damage by defol is counter productive! PERIOD! Don't 'fuck" with the plant physically!
Reduce nutrients ? This IS the stupidest one listed!
Why do you think nutrients have lower N ratio's FOR bloom!
Why do you think nutrients in soil are used and slowly reduce in nature?
FLUSHING IS the BIGGEST MYTH of ALL! The plant is still using nutrition during those last 2 weeks! The "bulking" phase is when the buds actually put ON most of there finish weight! Why reduce what it needs to finish properly! By forcing the plant to "eat" it's self, you change NOTHING in the plant for end taste!
I like the one about removing some fan leaves to put light to the buds.....they would still finish properly and with the same amount of trich's as if not.....I do some very limited leaf rmoval or simply "tuck" them out of the way with certain Indica's .... In all my years I have never seen this "increase" terps or trich's BUT, it will aloow the buds to ripen in a more even manor (in relation to each other finishing at the same time). You can see the bud ripen the trich's faster as the light hits them better. Like I said. they still would, only slower.......
Some answers above (physical stress), are examples of people with no real botanical knowledge. They have used "logic" to make conclusions about plant growth from non educated observation......The basis of most plant MYTH!
Now here's one that they left out! Could be one of the simplest ways to increase terps. It also increases trich production. So your getting increase by volume increase.
Use a simple Mag sulfate solution like Sweet Raw! There are K sulfates available, known as resonator and something else. You might want to avoid those as K sulfate will actually enhance only certain terps! This will change the flavor of around half the strains out there to be more citrus like and if you have strains that fall into the non citrus flavor area's - they will taste rather lemony!
Sweet Raw costs 65.00 a gallon! Want to make your own for about a buck? This formula works better then Botanicares Sweet too!
8 TBL Epsom salts
1 1/2 tsp DARK BROWN sugar
1 gallon RO water
1 opaque gallon jug
Bring 4 cups of the water to a rolling boil
Add the Epsom and the DBSugar
Boil for ,, oh 3-5 min stirring constantly
Pour the hot liquid into the opaque gallon jug with the other 12 cups RO water already in it and shake well to mix....
Bingo! $1.00 a gallon *new and improved* Sweet Raw.....
2 weeks b4 the flip start adding 5ml per gallon of feed.
At the flip, up to 10ml
at 3 weeks up it to 15ml
at 5 weeks up it to 20 and use till finish
Several members use it and report fantastic results!
Try it and see...But don't remove or prune for "more trich's and terps".......
