Anyone read any good books lately then? I usually prefer reading sci-fi/fantasy novels but at the minute I'm reading Shogun by James Clavell

One of my favorite authors is Clive Cussler and the Dirk Pitt Series. I also enjoy reading just about anything except romance.

i use to read 2 or 3 books a week but i haven't picked one up in years, besides grow books and how to's. they've been replaced with the internet. i'll have to go check out some book stores later. any good recomendations? i like the tom clancy type of reads.

Clive Cussler's Dirk Pitt novels are also amongst my favourites, i can read them over and over and over.

William Woodruff is a fantastic writer.

I read a good one by Dave Ramsey recently.

mainly talked about how to invest wisely with money..

proper ways to save money.. and so on.

Book was a good read though... really was.

would recommend it to everyone here..

I also read another book by Jack Herer.. was a good book as well.

World War Z - Max Brooks just in case you are into zombies

Rule of the Bone - Russel Banks really fun, lots of weed smoking and life lessons. awesome book.

and finally

anything by - Haruki Murakami if you are into strange japanese post-war modernism, real deep reading, confusing, and at the same time AMAZING, my favorite author by far.

READ THOUSANDS OF BOOKS WHEN I WAS IN PRISON (12 years) IT ALWAYS TOOK ME TO BETTER PLACES ..NOW I JUST DONT HAVE THE TIME...

My wife loves those books.

I've not read them yet, but I don't think it will be my bag.

Earlier today I went to a book store and found a small green book with a weed leaf on it and inside were a bunch of cool quotes from people you wouldn't expect to smoke such as Carl Sagan (from Cosmos) and Albert Einstien lol it was a good and funny read
