I have a ww that has hermied with 2-3 weeks left to finish. I've decided that I will remove it from my tent tonight (have a tan dream with 4-5 weeks left and don't want it pollenated). My question is do I place it in 2-3 days of complete darkness or do I just chop it down.? It needs to come out today, don't have a separate with lights to quarantine it and let it finish. However I do have a spare room where I could place it and hopefully it will accumulate that last bit of resin in the darkness. Thoughts? Is it worth it?
Anyone put a hermie in darkness for 2-3 days before harvesting?

So you think I should just harvest it now? I have not flushed at all. Thought maybe sitting in the darkness may help since I haven't flushed any. Thoughts?

see if anyone else chirps in , you can still flush , but the extra dark wont make a difference imo.
i have had bulbs/ballasts go down and not noticed for 24hrs , forcing an extra 12hours dark with no apparent change...
Alright thanks for the advice. I do know your not suppose to put a real wet plant in darkness so in order for me to flush I'd have to keep the ww in my tent. And that's a no no, damn nanners are getting out of hand.
Not really.. It'd take me buying all the equipment and I still wouldn't be able to monitor temps. I'd be a big pain. Next grow I'll have a spare tent so I'll be ready, but currently no where near ready for that. I prob should just cut the bitch down tonight.. Fuck.

Personally I dont think a few extra days of darkness would help, but since you are putting it in a spare room, it would only cost about 20 bux at tool store to get some CFLs above it. 5 for a lamp cord, 2 for a splitter, 3 for an extension cord, and 10 bux for 1x43W 2700K or 2x23W 2700k CFL. Oh, and a nail to put into the ceiling to bend into a hook to "hang" your socket cord

im with roll and smoke i would go to the hard ware store or CL and get a 2tube 40w shop light with tubes for about 10 bucks most of the time they even come with chains or if its a tall plant set the light on its side. i flowered 2 large males like this.
She's coming down tonight. My spare room for darkness was gunna have to be my bedroom. Lol. So technically I don't have a legit spare room. It's best if she just comes down tonight.. And to think I almost took clones from this ww.. She has been stellar up till the point. I'll snap a pic tonight before I harvest

yellow nanners started protruding out of my colas. They are female pollen sacs that will still pollinate other ladys present

Interesting. I got a couple hermies right now that have showed male flowers since the first day it started flowering. For the first few weeks of flowering i removed any male flowers i could find and the plants have been doing great ever since, no nanners in sight. you should post a pic of the nanners if you can.
