Anyone Play Penny Stocks?

Hey guys and gals,

Glad to have the black briefcase here,

Anyone play the pennies?

Name your picks for tomm's open.

One stock last week SYMBOL: VKNG.OB
Was up 850% in one day.

Don't buy it now, its overbought.

that meant you make 850x your money in one trade. I missed it, because i didn't listen to a fellow trader, hes now $10,000 richer.

Imo, tomms pick is SYMBOL: OWVI

also, if you want a bud related stock some people were heavily overbuying SYMBOL: HESG i don't suggest

Having been a penny stock trader and market maker ( this was apx 20 yrs ago) there are many caveats regarding any foray into this highly speculative market.

Unless things have changed dramatically, these stocks are highly susceptible to manipulation on the part of the market makers.

I would advise that only money that you can afford to lose go into this wild and wooly equity market.

Unless you know a primary market maker who's coattails you can ride on???... avoid any speculation otherwise.

lol, no offense but if you think 850% gain means you get 850X your money then i would suggest that you stay out of the stock market. 850% is 8.5x your money... 850%/100% = 8.5... the stock market requires exceptional analytic skills as well as someone on the inside who can guide you in the direction predetermined by the mentioned market makers... so be careful because you can lose your money faster than betting at the casino... goodluck!

I would rather throw my money on #2 on the roulette table, I hear the odds are better than in the manipulated North American Penny Stock market.. What do I know though..

Also, check out VKNG.OB.. Once every 2 or so months someone buys back millions in there stock options.. Otherwise your looking at a 5,000 give or take daily trade.. Yeah, that doesn't scream anything out loud to me..

I have been recently trying to find a way to invest some money. I don't have alot of money and I want it to be fun. This is definitely something I could get in to. I have an IRA and a 401k (as well as a job) and I'd be interested in playing this game with some of my extra $$$$. I've had a gambling problem for as long as I can remember and at least this would be WAY interesting.

Are you trying to start some kind of message board bragging rights pool? Or are you just trying to promote those two stocks that you mention may be good picks for tomorrows opening in an effort to raise the price rapidly?

Don't be sucked in by the low prices!!

The price of a stock is not that important compared to its relative strength in its own industry and accumulation/distribution numbers.

Buying a 100 dollar per share stock is usually a much better investment than 100 shares of a dollar stock.

Ive fooled around with penny stocks before, and that is all you can do with them "fool around". These companies usually have an extremely low stock count so there prices will jump around alot with small bits of info regarding the company. I made about a 200% return in a few weeks by following the news and just doing research on penny stock forums. basically what i did was go and find what stocks were "hot" i.e. what stocks people are paying alot of attention to on the penny forums then when i know some good news is going to come out and make it seem like a good buy to these people I would get in before the news became public then out right after the news came out and the price inflated. the problem is that these companies have such a low stock count its impossible to put in enough money to really make it worth while without having more stocks that can be liquidated while the stock is still popular. If you really want to make money off penny stocks look at what companies took huge hits b/c of the economy but are stable now put money into them and leave it for a while. i did this with siri and wamuq and came out pretty good. but penny stocks are not an investment its purely speculation.
