It may not be a purposeful omission...
I'm in the bureaucratic loop, too, now. Getting a fertilizer product approved can involve as much red tape as getting something approved by the FDA.- even if it's similar to what's already on the market....
Case in point: I'm trying to get an ingredient approved that's already being used for feeding livestock. Go figure-- approved for animals that we consume, but not for plants we smoke. lol. Just a bunch of paperwork and job stability for some of us

Hmmmmm. You may have a case there.
If the Cali dept of AG would walk into an indoor gardening center and see it on the shelf-- I'm sure they'd remove it.
BUT THAT'S NOT NECESSARILY A BAD THING
Mind you-- and I speak for the good guys in the biz-- Some products that are handled as though they are chocked with carcinogens and anthrax if they don't make this list.... and that's NOT case most times. It's usually due to $$$ and paperwork.
Have you ever lost your drivers' license?
I get the same feeling if I don't have my MSDS paperwork up to speed.....
Just a dude in the biz....

I lost my drivers license and had to fly...got felt up before it was cool.

plants in general can take up lots of stuff that they dont need...i.e. plutonium or food coloring

Most plants do--
Lead is the biggest concern, because it is basically everywhere (Has been since the beginning of civilization. *sigh*).
And plants love it.
Not recommended for increasing yields, though.
