It's sad the cops are doing this shit rather then sitting outside public housing and stopping crack/heroin/meth/coke sales. It also creates a lot of distrust for the police when they are openly lying on television to people who know better. Canadians aren't stupid when it comes to pot.

Cops are seeing the times change and certain ones are going to try and create a narrative that weed is evil and it needs to stay outlawed. Those same cops will be out of a job in 2 years tops. When the biggest city in Canada doesn't see Cannabis as a priority maybe other cities should follow suit? If it's not a problem in Toronto or Vancouver why is it a problem in Stratford? London? Kitchener? Cannabis cases are getting thrown out of court left and right, it's a waste of time to go after Cannabis users.

The Canadian Legal system is starting to look very American with region based policing policies. Get busted ask for a jurisdiction change, that's if they can get you to court before the laws change. Most police forces in Canada see this change coming though and aren't wasting their time or the tax payers money on people not doing anything wrong.

I think that cop and everyone that works at that news station should go to a drug treatment center and tell us how many people are their for Pot.

I can vouch for Guelph...they were fucking assholes in the '80's. Fuckers beat my buddy up for stealing a cruiser and dumping in the Speed river...no sense of humour!
