Anyone in Ontario have plants vegging indoors for this outdoor season?

... Michigan UP just got 17 inches of snow in 24 hours ...
The correct meteorological term for that is - GADZOOKS!!
... Anyone? ...
Yes. I reside in the northeastern area of the GTA and I am gonna try an outdoor grow this year. I have the cuts rooting right now and I'll VEG them indoors for a couple of weeks before I gradually introduce them to the sun around "May 24." By that first weekend after Victoria Day they should be good to stay outdoors permanently.

Started March 21st this year indoors, I usually just plant seedlings in a greenhouse area May 1st but wanted a head start.

I feel I started to early for my indoor space.

1 hr South of Toronto!

I always start mine March 1 then transfered outside on June 1 with a total life pain of about 8to9 months .

But they do yield my average outdoor plant is 4 pounds + but this year nothing in the ground just pots because my yard soil is to hot from lrevious years plants won't grow she needs a brake !

Here's mine as of today

Plant of grapes
Scooby snax
End game r2
Bruce banner
Ice cream cake
Bubble gum ice candy

Some new strains I am trying out I am very fortunate there's a very very good local clone supplier around here with quality stuff every year so.

Now I did get these at a fair size otherwise they would be trained differently lower foliage etc

Somewhat of a new grower with 3to4 years under my belt I keep it simple so far

Promix hp
Floranova grow
Cal mag
Worm castings

I am gonna wager you are on the Niagara Peninsula?

It's been too cold in Southern Ontario these past few weeks to get anything to grow. We returned from the 33C kind of temps in Orlando to these rainy days with 6C to 10C temps. This feels like mid March and not early May.

Kitchener /Waterloo area

I guess we're actually west of Toronto lol
Yeah these don't go outside until June 1st and I dial back the light schedule to 15 hrs over 45 days from 18/6 And usually I am good but yeah agreed cold here but looks like things are turning around to 15 to 20 degree daily soon but still cold nights 5degrees etc ...

That makes more sense.

Man - from 1983 until 1990, a group of us dudes Oktoberfested in K/W - then barely made it back to the hotel room to pass out. Not sure how I made it home on the Sunday AM. That "I feel so shitty" morning after Oktoberfest

I am so glad I smoke pot now. I have yet to feel that similar morning after.

I hope you are right and it is turning around. Supposed to be 17C on Saturday which is good. While I would love to hit the driving range, I have two white ash trees that were taken down and I need to slice them apart and get them out of our forest. It's been too wet making the ground a little unstable. Mushy unstable ground and Stihl chainsaws are not a good combo.

Perhaps you can answer this ... the location that I want to try and grow outdoors is predominately filtered sunlight. We have some large maple and oak trees that produce a pretty good canopy in the height of the summer. Does filtered sunlight affect yields?

Ahem - never mind! ----- ^^^^^

Apologies for bogarting your thread @hipressure - but I just took a peek at the proposed outdoor spot and all of those trees that would have filtered the sunlight have been taken down. Our neighbor is putting up an external boat storage/garage so he needed to fell the timber. That spot should now get the full sun from rise until 3:30 - 4:00 in the afternoon. Getting jacked to see those Diesel buds after a summer under the sun.

I thank you for your time folks.

I meant to start my outdoor gals a few weeks ago, but did something nasty to my back. I finally got them started today in solo cups, along with my next tent grow. I’m near the hammer and will probably keep them inside until near the end of the month, before going outside. I use rubbermaid garbage cans for my planters to keep them protected from various animals. Usual end between 900-1750g a plant in just buds. Although I might need extra protection this year with our newest pup getting into everything. Plus we are getting some tree limbs taken down and should help give me some extra light for my gals. Hopefully the weather will cooperate for us all this outdoor grow season

so I started the following for outside today

BlackBerry Moonrocks - Anesia Seeds
Slurricane - Anesia Seeds
CBG Zero - Seedstockers
Banana Kush Cake - Sensi Seeds
Blue Cindy - G13 Labs
Cinderella 99 - Canuk Seeds
Mac - Canuk Seeds

Inside is all Ace Seeds with Killer A5 Haze, Malawi, Golden Tiger, Golden Tiger x Panama

Looking forward to seeing the progress!

In Toronto proper (eastside), so thinking same as you, I’ll pop the beans next week, then into solos until I’m sure we’re 12C overnight. From there, into final 10G fabric bags and hope for a bountiful harvest!

Lambs Bread, Apricot Kush and Northern Lights. CropKing except for Apricot which is ocs/Weathered Island

Only my third summer/outdoor run, so thanks in advance for all the help I’m gonna be asking y’all for
