If so, that could be used for an AACT. You're really just looking for some raw sugars, which maple syrup definitely has. Blackstrap molasses also has some other beneficial minerals in it; not sure how that compares to maple syrup.
Can't find molasses, or just trying to reinvent the wheel?
I wouldn't trust it. Do Soma's method. Let the plant go 2 - 3 weeks past its chop time. It will produce male flowers with fem pollen. Why use any chemicals. keep in mind with fems you lose the traits from the father plant. Recessive, stress recovery, etc... You would probably want add some melatonin to your fem plants then.
Check the MSDS its 100% fine. If you bought feminised seeds, chances are you are getting seeds made by this or sts. This is what I have been told. On the bottle I have it doesn't sound funky but we really never know. Another way is to use aspirin if that seems less "scary" so to speak lolI just copied and pasted it from where I found it and made it a bit easier to read.
2 -Aspirin, crushed into powder form, diluted in 1- gal for growing medium application
OR
1 Aspirin, crushed and diluted in 1L for foliage application ...
Apply 1-week prior to 12/12 regimen and end of 2nd week after introduction to 12/12
Male flowers will form with what we use to call "survivor pollen" that will produce 100% female seeds
