anyone heard of 'the neutralizer' odour controller?

hi guys, i purchased one of these last month and it works great but it's a bit expensive to replace the cartridges each month... does anyone have any suggestions, from a diy point of view, with which household fluid i could use instead? here's a link and a picture of the product...

hi, I'm sorry I dont know where you can buy cheaper cartridges, but I'm highly interested in your opinion!
1 question, that thing is as good as some people claim? I mean, that and a good carbon filter will get rid of 100% of the smell?
2 question, it's like the ona products? if kept in the growroom affect the smell of the buds?

it's good but in my opinion is only suitable for outside the grow room to mask the smell rather than eradicate it because nothing can stop a dank bud smelling.

A ionizer sized to twice the size of your grow room will but you can't keep it in the room or it will neutralize the smell of the plant. Vent into the room where the ionizer is and your good.
When I was an apprentice reno guys would run these in homes damaged by fire, after they gutted the home they would run it overnight and by the morning they would start closing up and start the repair. No scen t of smoke damage anywhere.

I know nothing about ionizers, my growbox is 4x4x7 and it's in my living room, can you please link me an example of what kind of ionizer I might need?
