Anyone have success vegging with 4 ft florescents?

Hope all is well with you all.

That's what I'm using right now. So far it's good i guess...

I wanted to see if anyone else uses the same method?

(2) 4 ft cool white florescents, hanging 1" away from the plants.

anyone use this? is it good, bad? what are your thoughts?

especially with 6500k bulbs... it works just fine. i've used up to 9 of these fixtures to supply a 3 (1000w) Hid flower room... growing them up to 1 to 1 1/2 feet before putting them into the flower room.... then vegging some more to fill out the space... then putting into flower. you could prolly raise enough under to 2 of those to well provision a 400 or even 600w HPS.

I've got 4 6500K 40W bulbs on some plants for about 5 weeks now. First pic is 2 male clones and last 2 pics are female clones.

Anyone have success vegging with 4 ft florescents?
