Anyone growing their own nutrients- flowers, grasses etc that have all the nutrients you need to grow without any/many external inputs? Would like to learn more if so

I have comfrey, dandelions, and nettles growing in my yard intentionally that I harvest. I ferment it to get the minerals free to the plant and water it in. At the end of the year I store the leftover fermented extract and use the rest of the nettles and dandelions - seeds and comfrey in a compost pile with tree leaves and clover that I grow intentionally. Indoors it is hard to do but I do like yarrow and chamomile for companion plants indoors. The french know great gardening!
THAT ^^^^ Pretty much sums my feelings on this also.I also have a dedicated comfrey bed, but 90% of the cuttings are just used as feed for the worms. The stems and stalks (10%), either go back in the comfrey bed, or the other raised bed garden as they take longer to break down and are a PITA when harvesting castings.
Besides, as good as comfrey is, it's even better after going through a worms gut and better yet, the worms do all the work. At 67 and beat-to-shit, K.I.S.S. becomes a necessity.

Comfrey is DAMN good as a nitrogen/green input for your compost pile too.
I use it there mostly, the worms get fruit.
I do leaf compost, but the piles are actually the raised bed gardens. Saves effort. I usually alternate the yearly haul between gardens. Come planting time, just move the leaf mulch, dig a hole and plant, then move the leaves back. In the comfrey bed, the comfrey just blasts its way through in the spring.
