Anyone got tutorial on when to give plants nutes

I have a pair of baby's that have 4-6 large leaves. They are in 2" rockwool cubes in 4" pots, at what point do they need to be transplanted to larger pots?

ebb n flo, rockwool in hydroton in pots in drain table.

I put 3" round net cups into 6" tall square pots once roots are hanging out of the 3"'ers.

Make sure that your cude is 1/2" above the fill line of tray. This helps to prevent stem rot.

But, remember that in hydro you are not so much worried about root bounding.

Is the root bound thing true? Ive never heard of it not being something to worry about, my last harvest was all out of 4" pots and the trees were about 2.5-3FT tall and the roots were def cramped up in there.
