Hey all, I'm an Austinite for years. Been to many a Marley. This year it's a $15 charge at the gate ($10 if you can get to a FrontGate Tickets outlet by Friday) and very worth it. CAFB (Cap Area Food Bank) is accepting non-perishable food donations but not required and donations do not reduce ticket prices as in years past.
Bring tents and chairs. Cops are cool (LITERALLY backs turned) as long as you smoke in your tent. Even if you don't, they usually don't cause any problems.... but just in case, tents are always good.
Gates open at noon. Bands shut down at 10 pm. Tent space is limited so those with tents be there before 2pm.
There are food stands (ie falafel, tacos, etc) and a lot of Jamaican merch. VERY cool merch.
So bring your cash along with your stash.
